Dawn Ross has responsibility for the oversight for Clinical

Informatics across Atrium, which is now part of Advocate Health.

She works in conjunction with the leadership teams in all Atrium

Health markets and regions to identify technology opportunities to

create a positive impact on business strategy and innovation,

teammate efficiency and patient quality and safety.

Dawn has served in many key leadership roles throughout her

career, including as Assistant Vice President and Chief Clinical

Informatics Officer for Atrium Health Navicent in Georgia, as well as

Director of Applications for Columbus Regional Hospital and

Director of Informatics for Indiana University Health in Indiana.

Dawn is passionate about collaboration and teams and has

developed and transformed informatics teams across two academic

enterprise health systems.

After completing her master’s in Nursing Informatics from Walden

University, Dawn then completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice

(DNP) Health Systems Leadership from Chamberlain University.

She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center

(ANCC) in Informatics Nursing, serves as a Board Member for

Velocity Healthcare Collaborative and is on the Advisory Board for

the Wake Forest University Master of Health Informatics Program.

Dawn lives with her husband, Chris in Warner Robins, Georgia.

She has three children and 11 grandchildren. In her free time, she

enjoys scuba diving, rescue/recovery diving and spending time with

her grandchildren.
